You have to plan for a healthy diet menu if you want to eat and live healthy. Planning for a healthy diet menu is not difficult at all provided you know which foods have fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins and proteins. You should include all classes of these foods in your diet. Here is just but an example of how you can prepare a diet menu for yourself for the whole day.
Taking breakfast is very important as it refuels you after about 8 hours of sleep. This means that you are able to start your day with more vigor and energy. You may consider this healthy diet menu for your breakfast:
A glass of lemon juice
A tablespoon of chopped nuts
A cup of strawberries
A single serving of oatmeal
If you are in school or at work during the lunch hours, you should consider carrying lunch. You can take following lunch with you:
A bottle of water
A cup of raw baby carrots
A sandwich made of whole grain bread
Lean turkey meat
If you are not in a position to carry lunch, you can eat from the restaurant. You can have a vegetable salad served with its dressing and a bowl of soup.
Dinner is when you may over eat especially if you missed some meals during the day. It is therefore important to check the portion of foods that you are taking during dinner. During dinner split up your plate into four parts. One part is for your protein source, the other for starch while the last two are for soup and vegetables.
As part of your health diet menu, take non fatty milk or drink water instead of the sugary sodas. When eating in a restaurant avoid the sausages because they are usually high in calories and fats.
