Inflammation is a physical condition due to infection or injury in which part of the body becomes swollen, hot, painful and reddened. Internal inflammation is caused by different conditions such as eating processed foods e.g. trans fats. Inflammation from various foods can cause various body conditions and disorders including coronary heart diseases, joint pain, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes and other countless diseases. Kelp is a brown algae extract that is rich in fiber and helps to control douses inflammation, liver and lung cancer. Apart from being an anti inflammatory, kelp is also anti tumor and antioxidative.

Salmon has been shown to prevent numerous ailments as it contains anti inflammatory omega 3 fatty acids.
3. Cruciferous Vegetables
Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, kale, cabbage, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts are foods that are anti inflammatory since they are rich in various antioxidants. Incorporating such vegetables into your diet will help to naturally detoxify harmful compounds from the body. This eventually reduces internal body inflammation.
Turmeric contains curcumin which is a natural anti inflammatory compound. The compound reduces body inflammation by helping the body to detoxify harmful chemicals and to shut down the NF-kappa B protein that causes internal inflammation to the body.

Apart from preventing diseases such as dementia and protecting the skin from aging, blueberries also reduce inflammation. On the other hand, onion has phytonutrients quercetin chemicals that reduce free radicals from the body thus reducing body inflammation of its own organs.

Research has shown that garlic has essential ingredients that help regulate glucose, facilitate the body in fighting various infections and reduce inflammation. Sweet potato is rich in manganese, fiber, complex carbs, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and beta-carotene. These essential ingredients within sweet potatoes work synergistically to heal inflammation in the body.
Those are a few of the foods that are anti inflammatory. Others include leafy greens, soy and tomatoes. Ensure you have added such foods into your daily diet so as to reduce joint pain among other inflammatory diseases.
