The dangers of unhealthy foods are not new on the internet. If you look carefully you will find many websites or blogs that discuss on the bad sides of unhealthy foods. For emphasis sake and the fact that you are already on this page, let us take a look at the real facts. A common kind or types of food that are considered unhealthy are fast foods. Why do people opt for fast food? Is it because they are so tasty and sweet or because they are very easy to get? Whatever the case may be, the truth is that they can affect you in many ways.
A major cause of the increasing rate of obesity and diabetes among people is fast food. About 25 % of Americans consume fast food as a daily diet plan. How would you explain the fact that French fries take about 51 days to digest? Foods like these can be termed "the highest category of unhealthy foods".
Given all the negative reviews on fast foods, you will be forced to ask if they have nutritional values. The answer is an absolute "NO". There is nothing nutritional about fast foods. Many opt for them because it feeds hunger and immediate cravings. These foods have added calories and chemicals that affect the body in different ways. Fried foods tend to lose their nutritional values and contain more fat. French fries contain about 11 grams trans fat (this is a lot!) and take long to digest, while Fish Nibblers contain about 16 grams trans fat and contain fewer nutrients. Foods like these should be avoided at all cost. The more you eat unhealthy foods, the more you are affected.
Meanwhile, not all fast foods are unhealthy or completely dangerous. If you have to opt for fast food, you can order for salads or vegetarian burger with salad dressing. If you wish to feed your hunger, vegetables and fruits are highly recommended.
