The best anti inflammatory foods include whole grains. These need to be consumed rather than refined white bread, or even cereal, rice, or pasta. This is because whole grains have fiber that is able to reduce the levels of C-reactive protein that leads to inflammation in the blood. In addition, whole grains have much lesser added sugar.
Next are the dark leafy greens that help to protect the body from cytokines that are the pro inflammatory molecules. The dark green vegetables include spinach, kale, broccoli, along with collard greens. In addition, these dark green vegetables have much higher concetration of vitamins and minerals. These include calcium, iron, along with the disease-fighting phytochemicals. Hence all these can be the anti inflammatory foods for your body.
