There is no one anti arthritis diet that has been set in stone, even in the medical community. However, there are certain foods which may alleviate its symptoms by decreasing inflammation and preventing further damage. As a rule, an anti arthritis diet asks that you avoid - if possible, eliminate - all processed food. Instead of fast food, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables (with the exception of potatoes and onions, which contain solanine).
