There are vast and various alternative diets a person can follow in order to reduce inflammation. One would think spices are excluded from this group, but there are indeed natural anti inflammatory herbs.
This is a yellow colored spice which is readily available in most grocery stores. Typically it is used in Indian cuisine, but it has a history of serving as medicine. Turmeric has been used to treat liver disease, infections, colds and wounds. According to studies a mixture of turmeric and cinnamon can reduce inflammation.
Another miracle spice, apart from proven benefits that fight inflammation, it has been used against headaches, stomach upsets and infections. It can be bought in powder form or as a fresh root.
This is probably one of the best anti inflammatory herbs because it is used as an additive for baking and other treats; however, it does a lot more. Studies show it has great anti inflammatory elements which most likely reduce swelling. In addition it is easy to consume by sprinkling it over coffee or cereal.
It is recommended to use fresh garlic with savory dishes in order to gain the full health benefits it provides. Some people don't take kindly to the strong taste, and roasting a head of garlic can make a big difference in this regard. There is no disputing that garlic is very effective against arthritis.
Along with numerous other chili peppers, cayenne has been hailed for hundreds of years due to its great advantages. It contains what is known as capsaicinoids which fights the effects of inflammation. It is always a good idea to add a dash of cayenne to a meal and recently is has been estimated to ease pain specifically connected with arthritis, making this one of the best anti inflammatory herbs.
Utilizing these natural anti inflammatory herbs can greatly decrease the pain and uncomfortable situations brought on by a natural protective reaction (inflammation). In the end it is much better to find alternative nutrients before using medicine with even worse side effects.
