There are cases were people are tempted to cheat on diet plans. This is probably because they could not restrain themselves from fast foods, junk foods and chocolates. If you are finding it difficult to follow a simple diet plan, be aware that it is matter of life and death. A healthy eating plan for a week includes varieties of food that will give you the required nutrients to become strong and healthy once more. It starts from Monday till Friday. Each day, it is necessary to change meals so you don't get tired of one particular food.
Normally you need a simple meal in the morning to stay on track. This time, you need to replace higher fat items with healthier ingredients. If you love eating cooked egg, sausage or beacon, why not replace them with egg whites, turkey sausage or turkey bacon? You can rotate these every morning for 7 days.
For lunch, you can take in low fat cheese with grapes and vegetable soup with whole grain crackers. Avoid cream based soups and the likes. Perhaps, chicken noodle, minestrone soup or tomato basil are good options. Or you can reach for those mid-afternoon cookies. There is no need to over eat during lunch. You can also choose to eat lean meats and green vegetables. Abstain from red meat and processed meat. Just try to follow these routines for one week.
You can focus on green beans, mashed sweet potatoes or meatloaf for dinner. You can also choose to eat dishes that feature chicken breast. Marinate the chicken in olive oil and serve with vegetables like steamed broccoli.
Remember, healthy diets include foods that are low in "bad" saturated fat. This is mostly emphasized because excess fat is bad for your health. So, whatever you choose to eat, make sure it will add value to your health.
