If your children do not feel the need to eat healthy, then maybe start introducing some fun healthy eating games for kids that may interest them. A simple game of eating the right foods can help spark their interest on eating foods that benefit their body. In this blog find out some really cool food related games you can begin playing with them.
Finishing Food First
If you have more than one child, a fun game would be to cut up some vegetables and have your kids race who to finish a small amount first. A good healthy snack to try first is carrots. You can buy baby carrots or you can buy the long ones and cut them up for them to eat them easily. Whoever finishes up the food first wins the challenge. Do not, however, make this a pig out contest. Only give them small amounts of food for them to chow down.
The Healthy Eating Chart
A fun game would have to be the eating chart. Simply write down a list of different things they must eat. Once they eat a certain food or a certain amount, they receive a special gift. Some good gifts you could give them can be a brand new backpack, shopping spree, new clothes, a cool new gadget, or even a cell phone. Be creative with this game because kids love receiving something small.
If you want fun healthy eating games for kids that can help educate your children and also change their dietary habits, then consider the above games. They can be just what you need to finally get them to eat what you want for them to start eating. Different kids begin to like eating certain foods based on time, so take your time when feeding them healthier.
