Basil is very well known in Mediterranean European countries and is widely used there. Its very fragrant aroma makes it perfect for salads, pasta sauces and pizza toppings. But its good taste is not the only thing that is great about this herb. It has been found to have the same anti inflammatory and anti pain effects that the widely known drug, Ibuprofen, has.
Rosemary is also very well known in the Western world, but you probably don't know that it is among the most powerful anti inflammatory spices available to us. Besides giving great taste to most meat dishes, its high concentration of flavonoids also makes it a very powerful anti inflammatory agent.
These super herbs are just an example of what nature provides anyone suffering from inflammatory diseases and anti inflammatory spices should definitely be used as an alternative to synthetic drugs. All the benefits, without any of the side effects.
